6 Cool New Shows Being Added To Netflix

Some cool new shows have been added to Netflix, and they will be reaching your home screens soon. They are:

1.     The Crown (Season 1)

The Crown is an American-British television drama series centered on the biographical story of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II of England. Season one of the show will be made up of ten episodes which will air for one hour each. It is scheduled to be aired entirely from November 4, 2016. It is created and written by Peter Morgan but produced by Left Bank Pictures for Netflix. Some of the top stars involved in the series are: Claire Foy, Jared Harris, and John Lithgow.

2.     Dana Carvey: Straight White Male, 60

 

The Emmy Award winning Comedian, Dana Carvey is at it again. Coming on November 4, the ace comedian will blend what he does best; take on big personalities with stories of his life. He intends to highlight what life as a father of millennials feels like. The stand-up special will bring fun and outrageous entertainment to its teeming audience.

3.     The Ivory Game

 

From all indications, this documentary on elephant poaching will be a thriller. Directed by Kief Davidson and Richard Ladkani it exposes the corrupt activity that poaching is. The show traces the ivory trade from its origins in Africa to its destination in China and in the process reveals the corrupt global connection and network that feed and nurture it. Working with undercover intelligence organizations, anti-poaching activity groups and Rangers, the promoters of this documentary have done much to bring hope for a possible end to the ivory trade, and at the same time stimulate outrage in people to fight it.

4.     Gilmore Girls: A Year in Life

 

This TV series is set to debut on Netflix on November 25, 2016. It presents the life of a mother and daughter as they deal with the common issues of a year in their lives. It will feature at least four episodes each lasting 90 minutes and will continue the Gilmore Girls series which started in 2000 but was later canceled. 

5.     Lovesick TV Series

The eight-episode series will start on November 17, 2016. The situational comedy was written by Tom Edge and directed by Elliot Hegarty and Gordon Anderson. It promises to be a hit going by the cast on display. Starring in the series are Johnny Flynn, Antonia Thomas, Daniel Ings and Richard Thomson. The story focuses on a young man Dylan who by chance is diagnosed with Chlamydia, and has to contact and inform all his former sexual partners that he is afflicted with the disease. Most of the series is done using flashbacks, ultimately revealing Dylan’s escapades with women. 

6.     Beat Bugs (Season 2)

Lovers of the series Beat Bugs have a lot to cheer about. The show will be back on the screens on November 16, 2016. The Australian-Canadian animated comedy series was created by Josh Wakely. The creator of the series was inspired by the music group, The Beatles and decided to create a show around his favorite music. It took him at least three years to get the rights to the music he required for the creation of the series.  Made up of 13 series, the animated children’s television series will feature half-hour episodes and will feature the voices of Ashleigh Ball, Lili Beaudoin, Rebecca Husain, Charles Demers and Erin Matthews.

 

These and many more shows are what should be expected as new additions to Netflix.
